What are the hours?

This position is unique in that it’s 100% flexible. Representatives can choose to work days, evenings, weekends, part-time, or full-time.

Our representatives work with a manager weekly to design a schedule that works for them around their classes, athletics, and other obligations. Since we know that life fluctuates week to week, representatives are not bound to any specific schedule and are not required to fulfill any minimum hours each week.

Are there any start-up costs?

Nope! All of our representatives are able to work virtually, so there is no need for any samples. They simply use their laptop or computer to walk through product options with customers online using our virtual catalog.

What if I don't have any experience?

No problem, most people start with ZERO prior experience. We provide all the training you need to succeed as a representative. The virtual training seminar is a three-day online program led by experienced professionals with decades of experience. Don't worry; these sessions are interactive, engaging, and fun. On top of that, we offer optional ongoing training sessions and conferences. We believe that one’s personal success will rarely surpass their level of personal development.

As a full-time student, is this a good fit for me?

Most of our representatives are full-time students, and our management staff understands that academics will always take priority over work. Our goal is to provide an opportunity that allows students to work flexibly around school so that they are able to develop tangible soft skills while also maintaining good academic standing. Our company’s training is respected nationally, and our endeavor is to leave students better-equipped to land their dream jobs and impact society in meaningful ways after graduation.

Many of our representatives qualify for internship credit, and we award $50,000 annually in scholarships to full-time students.

What does it take to be successful?

Successful representatives are committed, positive, and communicate frequently with their managers. This open line of communication is important because our office is filled with supportive, fun, and experienced managers who want to help you hit your goals. Our top representatives love being part of a team and building lasting relationships.

What kind of work is this?

You’ll begin as an entry-level customer sales and service representative. Our representatives schedule appointments to introduce potential customers to Cutco through one-on-one virtual presentations. This means our representatives can work from anywhere. It’s not your ordinary 9 to 5 position, and we’ve found that people enjoy the flexibility and opportunities for advancement the position provides.

Can I work from home?

YES! This is a predominately remote position. Our interviews and training are conducted 100% online. Representatives can choose to work completely from home or have a hybrid schedule.Our goal is to provide an unrivaled work experience for students. We have been offering remote positions for over a decade, so we feel particularly well-equipped and confident in the success of representatives who join our team during this tumultuous time.

What kind of experience can I expect?

Through our industry-leading leadership development program, we teach the most sought-after, marketable skills students can’t learn in the classroom. Our representatives can expect to develop the following skills:

What is the compensation structure?

We have a guaranteed starting base pay of $25/appt. This is NOT based on sales or commissions. Our representatives are paid every Friday, so they see the results of their hard work at the end of each week.We also have a parallel incentive pay program. Representatives can earn anywhere from 10%-50% on orders placed by customers, with no caps on commissions. Our representatives are always paid the higher amount each week (base pay or incentive pay, with our top representatives earning $1,000-$2,000 their first week with us.
